:Today the team finished in 7th at the MIT Invitational, surpassing our previous record of 8th place last year. With 71 teams from 15 different states, this was easily the most competitive invitational in the nation, which makes our placement all the more impressive. We defeated many of the best teams in the nation, including the state champions from New York, Massachusetts, and Florida, and finished far ahead of reigning Georgia state champion Brookwood High School (who placed 17th).
