On Saturday March 31st we competed in the Georgia Science Olympiad State Tournament held at Emory University. We finished in second place overall for the fourth year in a row, earning us the right to compete at the National Tournament on May 18th-19th at Colorado State University. In the 34-year history of Science Olympiad, we remain the only Fulton County high school ever to qualify for Nationals.
Our team recorded a score of 113 points, finishing top ten in 21 of 23 events - more than in any previous year! We medaled in the following events:
