Schedule & Event Signups
The schedule for the tournament can be found here. Room numbers may change somewhat depending on room availability and suitability. We do not expect event timeslots to change other than the possible removal of a few build event timeslots, depending on how many teams decide to compete in those events.
Event signups will be done using ESUS, and will be open from November 30th at 9 PM EST to December 8th at 9 AM EST. Teams from the same school must sign up for the same time slot for non-building events (every event except for Towers, Wright Stuff, Mission Possible, Scrambler, and Bottle Rocket). Login information will be sent out to teams shortly.
As of December 8th at 5 PM: Final times can be seen here.
We ask that each team run an event per the number of teams that they send (up to 2 events). The registration form includes a field to select event preferences (event preferences will be primarily on a first-come-first-served basis). After the tournament, teams will receive hard copies of their event materials (tests, scoresheets, etc.) and an electronic copy for all events. Teams should send all event materials to chsscioly(at)gmail(dot)com by November 28th.
As of November 6th: event assignments have been posted here. If your school is not listed, you do not have to run an event (although if you wish you may volunteer to help another school). Events marked with dashes will be filled by Chattahoochee. If you would like to request materials or volunteers from us, please do so by November 28th.
Tests should include a field for team number. For events that specify different rules for different levels of competition, please use the specifications for the state level. The cutoff for rules clarifications and FAQs for this tournament will be on Saturday, December 3rd, at 3 PM EST. All rules clarifications and FAQs posted before this time are fully applicable at this tournament and should be treated as though they are included in the printed rules, and any that are posted after this time should not be used at this tournament.
Event signups will close at 9 AM EST on December 8th, and the final team lists for each timeslot will be sent out after that. If you would like to plan based on the format of the signups list, a sample can be seen here.
Lunch & Concessions
Teams may preorder pizzas and drinks (the order form can be found here) and we will be selling concessions throughout the tournament. Lunch orders must be sent to us by December 5th (either via email or mailed with the check), and a check should be mailed to us or brought to the tournament.
Awards Ceremony & Results
The awards ceremony will be held in the Main Gym, and is planned to start at 4:20 PM. Our annual T-shirt contest will begin at around 3:50 (not a definite time). The top three teams in each event will be awarded medals, and the top five schools overall will be awarded trophies (1st-3rd)/plaques (4th-5th). Rankings and raw scores will be posted online soon after the tournament.
